Back to School: IAAP DACH Knowledge Badge Exam for Accessible Teaching
Unfortunately, only in German, but totally worth including! The preparatory course is free and open to all, whether you are enrolled for the exam or not. It details accessible document preparation and more. For English speakers, I recommend the Accessible EU Online Training on Accessible Technology Design instead.

A hands-on experience on accessibility - fireside chat with Oracle
Thursday, September 11, 4 PM - 5:30 PM
Thanks to the European Accessibility Act (EAA), many companies are now required to make their products and services accessible to all people, including persons with disabilities. The requirements of the Act are complemented by accessibility standards, which provide businesses with clear guidance on how to implement accessibility in practice.
In this event, we will have the opportunity to discuss with Oracle how it promotes and supports accessibility. Among others, we will hear about Oracle’s accessibility journey and its cooperation with the accessibility community. We will also discuss the way Artificial Intelligence (AI) can contribute to accessibility, potential risks and the benefits related to AI that can be exploited.

Ask Us Anything about Accessibility
Thursday, September 18, 5:00 – 6:30 PM (GMT+2)
This session is your chance to ask all your burning questions about accessibility! Whether you're struggling with WCAG guidelines, unsure about best practices, or curious about the latest accessibility tools and techniques, we'll be here to provide answers and share insights.
To get the most out of it, I invited UX Research and CRO Laura Wissiak, Accessibility Specialist Emma Dawson, and Product Designer Mercy Kwambai to join the stage and provide you with all the information needed when it comes to UX Design, UX Research, and Development and Testing.
Additionally, I invited Project Manager Daniel Undeutsch to expand our viewpoint of accessibility in other areas, with his insights and struggles, and how to overcome them within a development team.
Recording, transcripts, slides, and articles can be found afterwards on the event page and on Accessibility First.
