Spot the Bias: Data-Driven Solutions for Inclusive Mobility
12 December 2024 13:30 - 15:00 CET
Only 40% of mobility companies collect demographic data of their users and only 17% analyze their user data in detail. Where data is missing, knowledge is also missing. The diversity data gap refers to missing data collections or data sets in which a particular target group is underrepresented. The data gaps are to the disadvantage of marginalized groups such as women, migrants or people with disabilities.
What to expect from the Webinar:
● Inclusive Data Collection: Gain insights into inclusive data collection methods and explore strategies to accurately represent the diverse mobility needs of various target groups.
● Identifying Bias in Mobility Data: Learn how to detect and address biases in mobility datasets that may impact diverse user groups.
● Strategies for Data-Driven Diversity: Discover effective practices for ensuring diversity and inclusion through data and technology in mobility services.
● Expert Q&A Session: Engage directly with our expert, Lina from POINT&, to get your questions answered and gain deeper insights into creating inclusive mobility solutions.
How to meet the accessibility needs of an increasingly diverse workforce
19 December, 4pm UK time
It’s great to see employers embracing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. However, the gap between the intention of inclusion and its reality can be vast. Everyone in an organisation has a role to play in enabling this to happen - from procurement managers assuring the accessibility of digital tools they buy, to internal comms staff thinking about the accessibility of pages they create on their intranet.
Not being able to fully access internal tools and communications can be frustrating at best and excluding at worst - whether that's being unable to tab through a purchasing system for employees who find using a mouse a challenge, to get the right information from RAG status charts if you're colour-blind, or view company videos due to lack of captions.
In this webinar we'll share key steps you can take to deliver internal digital tools and comms that deliver to both your organisation's values.
We'll share what we've learned from working with large and small organisations, and guide you through some key ideas and processes:
How to ask your employees about their access needs
How to ensure the digital tools you're buying are accessible
Help! I can't change what we've bought... What do I do?
How do you make sure your comms don't let the side down
Invite your HR and DE&I leads, and join us for a practical and inspiring session.

Wien: Demo für Persönliche Assistenz 2024
Freitag, 6. Dezember 14 Uhr
