Beyond Technical Accessibility: European Accessibility Act Compliance Requirements: Bet Hannon - WordPress Accessibility Meetup

The European Accessibility Act requires a number of things beyond technical accessibility to WCAG/EN 301 549 guidelines. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what compliance requires and how to start preparing. This session will break down who needs to comply, which standards apply today, and what’s coming next, plus what early enforcement looks like.
GDG Vienna Trusted Tester Study Group 5: Links + Images + Adjustable Time Limits

A new webinar series has recently started in the GDG Vienna Community, which will inform you about the DHS Trusted Tester over the next few weeks, so that you can successfully pass the test together as a study group. Due to current events, it is unclear how long the DHS Trusted Tester content will be available and whether it will continue to be free. So join in while you still can and get certified as an A11y tester.
We are moving on from big testing blocks Keyboard Access and Forms. The next sessions will cover 2-3 topics each, starting with links, images, and adjustable time limits.
